[Japanese]

It's a pity that it rained during Obon. But the lanterns were still really beautiful!

[Private]

I hope you made it back safely, Dad! Now Mom's there, too, right? I'm going to move into the school dorms soon. I'll try to work hard and keep up my grades!

[Filter: Japanese]

We get a day off school for Marine Day~! I don't know if I'm going to do anything special, but a break is pretty nice!

I guess I can help Mom around the house a bit more!

[Filter: Private, Japanese]

I'm really glad that nothing really bad has happened over here lately, but I guess it's true that it's pretty weird that Tokyo's been quieter than other places.

I wish I could do something to help.

There's a lot going on around the world, isn't there? I guess we're lucky here in Tokyo.

But maybe things will change for the better for everyone soon! To be honest, a lot of what I've been reading here still doesn't make much sense to me right now, but I guess all the Seals and Angels are just doing what they feel is right for the whole world~!

This year is already starting to get busy~! I've been having to stay up later to get enough studying done after class and school clean-up duties! I don't want to neglect my chores at home, either! I think I'm on track right now, though~! :D

It was Children's Day on Friday - those carp streamers are always really fun to see!

The new school year is going to be starting soon - time passed really quickly!

Oh, my exams last term went pretty well~! My mom seemed happy with my grades, too! I'll have to make sure to keep it up this year!

I'm sorry about the Pope! I'm not Catholic, but I'm sure he did a lot of amazing things during his life, so it's good to remember those things~

I probably missed a lot again - I haven't had much time to go online lately. We've got exams, so I have to make sure my grades don't slip~! Plus, our dial-up connection is slow. Still, it's better than nothing, right~? :D

I'm sorry; I guess I didn't really know what all this was about, and I still don't really understand it, but it's something to do with 'the end of the world', right? Did someone say that was really going to happen? It could be just a hoax~! Either way, the world doesn't need to end, does it~? I know there are probably a lot of things wrong with it, but it's got lots of good points, too!

Ahh! I must've missed a lot these past couple of days. How is everyone~?

Thanks again, Seishirou-san~! :D (Thanks for the reminder that I needed to get back home to study, too!) And, Subaru-san, if you can read this, hello~! Seishirou-san's told me a lot about you!

Hi, everyone~~! ^___^

I just got here, but this looks really interesting! Nice to meet you all! I'm Segawa Keiichi, sixteen, from Tokyo! I've never tried anything like this before, to be honest, but I'm sure it'll be lots of fun. I think I'm getting the hang of it so far. Let me know if I do anything wrong, though, okay~?

Ah~! And there are probably people from all around the world talking here, right? Wow~! That's pretty amazing! I'm really looking forward to getting to know people on here! How is everyone~? :D

[Filter: Private]
There was an earthquake in Nakano. Dad's gone. It's pretty hard to believe... but the funeral's taking place soon, so it's real.

Mom and I will be okay, though. It won't do anyone any good if we're sad and cry forever, right? So, we'll keep going!

But we'll never forget you, Dad.
